Protecting and restoring ecosystems can help us reduce the extent of climate change and cope with its impact, as healthy ecosystems will be more resilient to climate change.

Join the Wildlife Trust and discover the important habitats on your doorstep that help store carbon and create more resilient ecosystems.

Find out what lives in our meadows and around our ponds at this family event.

The Wildlife Trust outdoor leader will talk about these habitats and their importance and guide you around looking at the insects that live in the meadow using sweep nets and bug pots to look closely at what you can find.

Also have a go at making nature crowns and bracelets using natures treasures to decorate.

All ages welcome.

Please note there is difficult terrain to the meadow so buggies are not recommended. Pease let us know if you have any accessibility issues.

Meet at the gates at the end of Marrelsmoor Avenue. The Wildlife Trust Outdoor Leader will take you to the meadow.

Parking available at the car park on Milk Lane.
